Our new album ‘Slow and Steady’ is now available to pre-order from both Stitch-Stitch and Discount Horse. It’s made up of ten songs which were recorded in the same sessions as ‘It Is The Rehearsal That Will Make This’, so they’re kind of a pair. We’re really excited about it. It’ll be released in early June, in time for our tour with Jack Lewis....
Our t-shirts are now for sale online through Stitch-Stitch! They were drawn by the wonderful Joff Winterhart.

At the Ace Bushy Striptease all-dayer in Birmingham, 04/02/12. What a good day.
Last Easter we went on tour with Ace Bushy Striptease and it was brilliant and so we basically agreed to do it every year for the rest of time. It’s sort of a marriage type deal. So here’s where we’re playing this time around:
5 April - MANCHESTER – Kraak
6 April - WAKEFIELD - The Hop
7 April - DURHAM - Fishtank
8 April - SHEFFIELD - Audacious Art Experiment Warehouse

Our 10” vinyl EP ‘Things Grow There’ is now available to buy online from Where It’s At Is Where You Are, over here. It has four songs on - Riversong, Slow Bridge, Courage, and Young Explorer. We recorded it in Norwich with our good friend John Boursnell.

Grace has made an amazing music video for our song ‘Courage’! YES!

I made a music video for Courage: the Middle Ones song I wrote most of. The amazing SJ Esau says: “Just like the song - big scale content, lofi rendering.” What a good guy.
Enjoy! Or Despise!

It’s hard to believe that it’s the last show of our year-long residency at Bristol’s ever-wonderful Cafe Kino this Sunday. This whole project has been amazing and insane. We’ve got to see so many great bands every month, and the atmosphere has been unfailingly brilliant at each show. Thank you so much to Michal and Aaron and everyone at Kino for helping make it...

Our penultimate show of the year at Cafe Kino, this Sunday!
We’re at the beginning of a really exciting collaboration project with our wonderful friend Molly Naylor. She’s an amazing poet and storyteller from Norwich and together we’re working on a show which I think is going to be called ‘My Robot Heart’. It’s about love and fear and romance and imagination and lots of other things in between. We’ll be playing...

A deep breath. Standing at the edge of the most unrivaled of human experiences. Rolled out before tentative toes and reflected back from the darkness and the depths of too fertile an imagination. An ominous prospect, this European Tour, it’s already been talked into the ground, I’m sure. Dreams...

Best Friends Forever - European Tour
This is crazily exciting: this summer we are going on tour around Europe and the UK with the incredible Best Friends Forever! They are one of our favourite bands, it’s pretty much a dream come true to be playing two weeks’ worth of shows with them. They come from Minneapolis, USA and make wonderful shambolic danceable songs about platonic love and American presidents and being on...
Jeffrey Lewis, tomorrow
We’re playing an afternoon show with Jeffrey Lewis tomorrow (Saturday) at The Castle on Oldham street, Manchester.
We’ve played with him a couple of times before (once getting my housemate to drive us all the way from Norwich to Durham) and it has always been amazing. He is pretty much the reason I (Anna) started playing music to people that weren’t my...
We made an album
Our first album is called ‘It Is The Rehearsal That Will Make This’. The title is from a line in a song Grace wrote, ‘Courage’, it’s the last track on the cd. I always think it’s kind of funny when we sing it, because we never rehearse, although it’s not about that.
We recorded it in Bristol, at Michal Williams’ (A Record of Everything) house...
